    This stunning Lavender color on the classic Orpington body type makes this a must have chicken for the collector of beautiful birds.
     
    Lavender Orpingtons are quiet, friendly birds that make great pets and are beginner friendly due to their easy temperment and hardy nature.  They are excellent foragers, but are quiet enough to enjoy confinement as well.  Extremely cold hardy, these birds will lay throughout the winter.
     
    Hens average about 6lbs and Roosters about 8lbs at maturity.
